Summary:
The PURCHASING ANALYST works under the direction of the Purchasing Director to evaluate sell out data across multiple variables to determine order points, forecasts and inventory replenishment.
Will be responsible for PO reconciliation, vendor collaboration on trends, promotions, etc.
along with other tasks to help support having the right inventory in the right location at the right time.
Will be responsible completing tasks and projects to help support our continuous improvement goals for the department and K&M.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Gather and interpret relevant supply data (inventory requirements, sell-out, future demand, costs, etc.
).
Analyze gathered data to identify opportunities and develop methods to optimize inventory.
Analyze monthly and seasonal forecasts to determine order strategies and execute accordingly.
Proactively engage with vendor customer service personnel to keep supply pipelines full.
Implement solutions to bridge gap between current processes to new approaches and processes.
Execute monthly forecasts and planning functions including but not limited to the order and inventory planning for import tires.
PO reconciliations to confirm open orders are in alignment between K&M Tire and the vendor.
Maintain the container summary spreadsheet with the updated container shipping information.
Manage the direct shipment process from ordering to billing.
Develop performance reports and strategic suggestions to distribute to key stakeholders.
(Level II) Proactively identify stock out issues, determine root causes, and resolve accordingly.
(Level II) Perform the Min / Max Analysis process.
(Level II) Manage opening points on new product launches, line extensions, tread pattern changes, etc.
(Level III) Review discontinued and non-stock SKUs monthly.
(Level III) Present continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the Purchasing Department performance and efficiencies that deliver on KPIs.
(Level III) Lead the execution and implementation of strategic projects (Level III) Lead the vendor collaborations to discuss trends, promotions, sellout opportunities, fill rate constraints, etc.
(Level III) Provide vendor price file comparisons on new items or as requested (Level III).
Create and maintain K&M's and field concepts, practices and procedures.
Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.

RequirementsJob Requirements Strong analytical capability with aptitude to navigate large quantities of data efficiently and ability to identify trends and inconsistencies.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business needs based on data and trend analysis.
Clear understanding of supply chain network and processes.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau (or similar business intelligence reporting).
Strong understanding of following areas:
Demand Planning, Forecasting, Process, & KPI's.
Act collaboratively by communicating across teams, functions, and departments.
Possess strong communication skills, expressing ideas effectively in both written and oral communications.
Focused on Continuous Improvement Ability to work independently.
Project a professional image of yourself and the company.
Purchasing Analyst I Minimum
Qualifications:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
